Place Site Title To The Right Of Logo Using GeneratePress

A common request from people using GeneratePress is to have the option to place the logo next to the site title. I hope one day, GeneratePress will make this a simple checkbox type of option in the Customizer, but for now, it requires adding some CSS code to your styles.

@media (min-width:769px) {
    .site-branding {
        display: inline-block;
    }

    .site-logo {
        float: left;
        margin-right: 20px;
    }
}

Where To Paste The CSS

The easiest place to paste the above CSS is in the Customizer's Additional CSS field. Just go to Appearance > Customize > Additional Css and paste the code above there.  Don't forget to click the Save and Publish button to apply it.

How To Adjust The Spacing

Your best bet is to change margin-right value from 20px to some other number, if 20px doesn't look the way you want it to. If you need more adjustments, you'll need to play with more CSS, and that is outside the scope of this quick tip.
